PR Leap Gets a New Dashboard

Posted September 27th, 2006 by Mario Lozano · No Comments

Hello…the PR Leap Dashboard has been updated with new: features, look and feel, and menu items. Our goal for this update is to give you a better experience by focusing on:

  • Usability – navigation is more intuitive
  • Design – simple, but elegant user interface

We’ve made these updates to the site to facilitate future growth. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience these changes may cause you. However, they are for the best. And believe us, the best is still ahead.

PR Leap Blog

For starters, we incorporated our blog right into the dashboard, so we can better communicate with everyone. This is key as we move out BETA in the very near future and release a host of new features and services. Questions are certain to arise, and this new forum will enable us to share those answers with everyone.

Top Navigation

The top right navigation bar has been simplified to only show your screen name and a “Sign Out” link.

Main Navigation

Next, we added a main navigation bar to help you move between your dashboard, news, account and help section.

Dashboard

When you login to your PR Leap account, you automatically start in your dashboard. Here you will see the headlines from your 5 most recent submissions. To view all releases in your account you can click on News in the main navigation bar. Within the News section you are presented with 10 headlines at a time, you have the option to see more releases below the list of headlines.

As we mentioned before, the PR Leap Blog is now integrated into your dashboard, so you can keep up with the latest PR Leap announcements and updates. We are happy to report that changes made to the dashboard improved the performance of the site: reducing the actual time it takes to get in after clicking the “Sign In” button.

News

The News section is where you manage your news already in the system, submit news, learn about our upgrade products, and edit or delete news groups. Now you can simply view a news release by clicking the headline. When viewing a news release, you can see its:

  • Position number
  • Upgrade amount
  • News id
  • Release date
  • Target industry
  • Approval status

In addition, from the view screen you can take the following actions:

  • Upgrade your news
  • Add your news to a group
  • See a live report of your news’s statistics
  • Edit your news
  • Delete your news
